![]() ![]() So your attack bonus with the AO is your attack bonus x 1.50, this is not an adder because the AO does 150% DAMAGE. This means that you get 150% of your current attack bonus in damage done. To understand this, assume the AO percent was 100% percent of the time you got 150% damage. The percent is dependent on the AO level. My Arctic Orange attack bonus calculation:ĪO provides 150% damage XX percent of the time. As mentioned above before you should see about boosting your attacking defense score (if possible) and review the troop types you are using for your age as that might improve your range a bit already. Only 2 of those 4 would really impact the battle in that case. Let's assume it does fire off 4 times remember that half of those will be 'wasted' if you were already getting a 2 shot kill. Assuming that you can still get a 2 shot kill (which at the edge of your attrition isn't necessarily true) you get 16 shots in a battle in which the AO may work. Just a slight clarification of how the AO works as someone mentioned it working 1/4 of the time. You aren't saying what you consider to be 'to many troop losses' and of course are you replacing your troops after each auto battle? The age/era of your city is going to make a rather large difference in some cases as the troops you are using will impact it greatly as some ages are better than others for fighting because of the troops available (FE springs to mind and hovers). ![]() You aren't really giving enough information in your initial post for anyone to even try and give you an accurate answer really. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() Your heroes can't be infected (nor can you loot invitations) until the infestation rises. You don't get invitations immediately because you don't need them. You can avoid the Court indefinitely, allowing you to collect blood before you ever need it, giving you all the time you need to set yourself up for an easy time (level 2's, level 4's, level 6's without worrying over blood). Like all zones, it starts at apprentice, and activating it immediately doesn't punish you in any way other than a minor stress-relief penalty if you delay the first mission. It should be activated from the start as that is how it was designed. So, i would say do not activate Court from the start What is different is upgrade cost and level restrictions, so, start of the game and endgame in radiant and normal are exactly the same in combat difficulty. Radiant isn't really that much easier, as far as i remember, all hero and monster stats are the same. ![]() That way you will have trinkets and upgrades to do ok inside, and you will have something to do outside, while game timegates you. So, i would say do not activate Court from the start, but rather wait around mid-game. Although, i started on already completed save, so part of my gripe may come from the fact that game doesn't let you play DLC until you get invitations, which are just timegated.Īlso, crimson curse cant outrite ruin your game now, you get just enough sources of blood, but still is a pain to deal with. I wouldnt say it is not manageable, but i found it as really frustrating experience. It ♥♥♥♥♥ you over, because it forces you to go into new location, but at the same time it doesnt let you until you get invitations. Honestly, i find crimson court really annoying more than anything. ![]() ![]() ![]() All quests which were missing from original game are now implemented.New hero classes Barbarian and Assassin.Fully integrated with new windows systems.Increased resolution and support for panoramic screens.Review By Richard Diablo 1 in HD with BelzebubĪ new game mod allows you to play the game in HD: Belzebub. However the game’s relative short length means it doesn’t become a chore and overall remains a fun action based alternative to the more hard-core roleplaying games of the time. ![]() ![]() While full of atmosphere, they can become slightly repetitive at times. The dungeons themselves are randomly generated at the start of the game (which is good for replay value) and offer a mix of exploration and action based combat. The Warrior, Rogue and Sorcerer all have their own set of attributes and each has a unique skill which gives three very distinct ways of playing the game. As with many roleplaying games there are the usual choices of character class. A lone adventurer must journey into the dungeons below the town of Tristam fighting the monsters that inhabit them before battling the Lord of Hell himself, Diablo. Set in the Kingdom of Khanduras (within the world of Sanctuary) the game’s plot is a fairly straight forward affair. While there had been similar games in the past, Diablo was a landmark title which significantly contributed to the increase in popularity of the action-roleplaying-game subgenre following its release. Combining elements of traditional roleplaying games with the simplicity of an action game, Diablo achieved both critical and commercial success for Blizzard Entertainment and went on to become one of their best-selling games of the late 1990s. ![]() ![]() ![]() Here, however, all of that magic is killed after you get the flamethrower in the very first mission. World at War at least made you wait a few missions before letting you burn guys to a crisp and the anticipation was sweet. In fact, the only thing separating it from past PlayStation 2 Call of Duty titles is the addition of the flamethrower, but even that is somewhat ruined. Call of Duty: World At War: Final Fronts contains none of that innovation and excitement, delivering an experience that “by-the-book” is too nice of a term for. The sniper level in which you hide amongst dead bodies and time your shots with passing planes? Sure, it may have been a mix of Enemy at the Gates and the sniper level from Call of Duty 4, but it was still great, as was the ensuing chase after you’re discovered. I mean “game” is right there in “gameplay.” Sadly it’s where Call of Duty: World at War: Final Fronts disappoints the most.Ĭall of Duty: World at War made the tired World War II setting work through innovation. Gameplay is, I think, the most crucial aspect of a game. ![]() ![]() Call of Duty: World at War: Final Fronts, as you can tell from the title, is not just a PlayStation 2 port of World at War, but rather a companion piece.Ĭan UK-based developer Rebellion do what Treyarch did and breathe some life back into World War II? Gameplay in Call of Duty: World At War: Final Fronts (1 out of 5) ![]() I was understandably wary, but Treyarch managed to make World War II somewhat fun again. I didn’t know what to think when the Call of Duty franchise went back to World War II after the phenomenal Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Prepare Call of Duty: World At War: Final Fronts ![]() ![]() I expect Relic to be more responsive on addressing the raised issues. I don't know what happened here during development tbh, like progress on it was suddenly halted last year because it's literally no better than the UI I played with in the closed alpha back in 2021. Worst of all, the overall visual elements look incoherent with each other. One example in the first image below is the fact that you can't tell if the third tier of unlocks requires unlocking the second tier or not, you really have no idea why not or the logic behind that. The campaign UI itself straight up looks and performs like it's unfinished - plenty of weird button placements, low-res icon reuse, and bad communication. Plus, it weirdly omits important things like relevant icon flashes that better communciate if your unit is under attack or retreating in favour of an obnoxious side notification list that appears better suited to an Anno or grand strategy game. The biggest issue to me is the UI, the in-game interface is serviceable but has too many mouse-over tooltips and moving text for my liking, also unit panels don't tell you who the player owner is. I haven't encountered crashes yet, but the game runs better than CoH 2 (that one's naff main menu comes to mind). These alone are genuinely worth a playthough over the past campaigns from the series and RTS' in general, whether now or at a discount later on. I really dig the different companies and upgrade trees. ![]() ![]() ![]() The RTS missions of the dynamic campaign are pretty good, both interesting and fun to play. ![]() |
